Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities started packing operations for Validtrade (https://validtradesa.co.za/) in September 2024. Validtrade distributes automotive parts and accessories. We pack tube patches, SVS solution and repair strings for distribution to Validtrade’s customers.

NCP Chlorchem Food parcel donation
NCP Chlorchem (https://ncp.co.za/) generously donated 130 food parcels to the beneficiaries of Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities. Each parcel had a monetary value of approximately R600, but the ultimate value for beneficiaries to have additional food to celebrate Christmas with their families. The lovely gesture made by NCP was highly appreciated.
Annual year-end function
Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities held its annual year-end function on 13 December 2024. This was an enjoyable event to acknowledge beneficiaries’ contributions during the past year. Those who made a substantial impact at work received merit awards at the award ceremony. In addition, beneficiaries received awards for long service and exceptional work attendance. As part of the festivities, beneficiaries received food parcels that NCP Chlorchem (https://ncp.co.za/) donated.

Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities assists RAM (https://www.ram.co.za/) with pasting barcode stickers on document protectors. The preparation of document protectors simplifies the process in the warehouse. This way, value is added and time is saved to the operations within RAM’s warehouse.
Unique Christmas market
Employment Solutions regularly participates as an exhibitor at the Unique Christmas market. Genuine leather and other sewing products, handmade by persons with disabilities who are primarily deaf, are available. These individuals excel in producing high-quality items. An array of beauty products is also for sale providing ample opportunities to purchase lovely Christmas gifts.
AppleTec Industries
Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities is a supplier to AppleTec Industries (https://www.appletec.co.za/). AppleTec focuses on technical thermoplastic injection moulding, whilst Employment Solutions assembles the manufactured electrical cable glands that have been moulded before distribution to customers.
Vodacom (Pty) Ltd Warehouse
Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities has partnered with Vodacom (https://www.vodacom.co.za/) Warehouse for over 15 years. Our services focus on sorting, scanning barcodes, and filing purchase order documents. These documents are received after the deliveries have been completed. After that documents are sorted and their barcodes scanned individually. The filed documents are then collected by Document Warehouse to be stored.
University of Pretoria: Faculty of Health Sciences Conference accessories
Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities produced conference bags and lanyards for the School of Health Systems and Public Health (https://www.up.ac.za/faculty-of-health-sciences). These accessories were made by persons with disabilities in Employment Solutions’ Sewing Unit.
